Just weeks after landing a starring role in an upcoming teen drama on a cable network, Cincinnatian Tiffany Hines appeared on prime time Monday night in the season finale of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."

The Seven Hills High School graduate and former University of Cincinnati student played Natalie, a high school senior who brings a friend into the emergency room.

"I was really stoked when I got the role because it just happens to be my favorite show right now," Hines said.

"And of course, it doesn't hurt to be on the same set with Patrick Dempsey, because he really is McDreamy."

Hines, 28, grew up in Anderson Township and went to Los Angeles about a year ago to pursue her dream of being an actress.

We just love Tiffany - she deserves this more than anybody," said Jake Lang, Hines' agent and manager, and owner of Wings Model Management downtown.

Hines' teen drama, "Beyond the Break," airs June 2 on Nickelodeon's sister network, "The N."

The series is about four girls who want to become professional surfers.
